As a fan of Asian buffet, I had two experiences with this place. The first one was kind of disappointing - 2 to 3 stars. I was willing to give it a second try because I believe in second chances and I didn't want to eat Southern buffet food.
Honestly, I came here again because I did NOT want to eat southern buffet food or fast food. Not in the mood. Eating at Applebees or Ruby Tuesday wasn't looking like a great option too.
I was surprised how they have improved. The food was great. I love the seafood options. The sushi bar was 100 percent better. Plus, it was super cheap.
My hubcap ate about two plates and then his face dropped. I asked him why he look so upset. He said he felt like the food was too good to be true and was worried he might get sick from the food. I joked with him and said not to worry..."that he just tasted some really good KITTY CAT meat in the food". We laughed about it. I said now you know that our cat, Winston, will taste really good if we have to use him as a food source.
He still looked worried :)!
Good times with friends and family. I just wish they had some raw oysters, better sushi options, kimchee, and squid.
So they have these soft tacos my husband called Asian tacos. He kept wondering what was inside the meat stuff in them. He ate them nevertheless and really loved them. I called them UFOs - Unidentifiable Food Objects. As an experimental cook and foodie, I am open to trying new food as long as it is not alive while I am eating it or has waste products in it. So the food was not that scary here to me like it scared my hubcap.
I didn't use the bathroom because I got a weird feeling entering it and did a quick U turn. So my advice is, try the bathrooms at your own risk. I didn't see anything bad in the bathroom. I just got a weird vibe.
I am giving this place four stars because of the great improvements. I hope this place stays and gets better.
This is not the best Asian buffet I have been to, but I think it is the only one in Thomasville and it was great the second time around for me.
Seeing the really bad reviews here. I can relate and understand from past experience. In a way, I loved that the place was not so crowded and not many people know how far this place has improved. I love that. I hate crowds. Give this place a second chance.
I just hope enough people come here to help this place stay in Thomasville for awhile. -

Let me start with I'm a picky person, but I usually enjoy hibachi buffets because I can have them cook exactly what I will eat and like. This one wasn't good. My hibachi didn't taste well, it was over cooked and slimey. Their general Tao and sesame chicken was sitting in a watery sauce, it was soggy and gross.
This was the worse I have ever had. -

It's not a good place to go everything was super greasy, salty, and pricey for the low quality of the food. If this is one of your 2 options go with your second choice.

We went to GA for a few days to get away from Hurricane Matthew. Decided to make it a mini-trip. There was a buffet near our hotel so we gave it a shot. Super Hibachi is a large size restaurant with a variety of food displays. The food was very average tasting, the sushi selection wasn't very good. The Hot and Sour soup was almost gone and looked like it has been there for a while with no refill in sight. The dessert cakes tasted good and they had little personal size ice creams which my daughter enjoyed. The fruits did not look fresh. When it was time to pay the bill, I noticed a 10% discount if I checked in on Yelp. I showed the employee the discount in which he says I don't know what it is and will not accept. I'm not sure how the Yelp checkin and restaurant discounts works but I was disappointed. I am sure there are better Chinese buffets around town, until then enjoy the average food.

When a meal begins with pulling out a sticky chair at a sticky table and not being able to slide into the seat (because it was too sticky), the food has got to be a-maz-ing to make up for the environment. It wasn't.
Mussels were lukewarm and drowned in a mustard-cheese sauce (and the second one tastes as though it was turning), "stuffed" shrimp were disgusting, Mongolian beef was pretty standard but cut too thick to be tender, egg roll had a long, tough stem of some vegetable within. For my meal, flushed the money down the crapper.
My husband, on the other hand, didn't mind the mess that accompanies a crab meal, and dove in with both feet ... err ... hands. He said the crab tasted fresh and delicious. Perhaps the saving grace for this restaurant.
